Both games captured the spirit of the originals but updated the gameplay and graphics to appeal to modern sensibilities. Resident Evil 4 Remake will be Capcom’s third recent reimagining an entry from its mainline series, following the massively successful Resident Evil 2 (2019) and the slightly more controversial Resident Evil 3 (2020). Despite launching as a Nintendo GameCube exclusive, Capcom has since ported it to nearly every console available since then. Starring Leon Kennedy, Resident Evil 4 released in 2005 and remains one of the best entries in the popular action-horror franchise. A leaker on Twitter suggests the forthcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake will make changes to the original’s gameplay.
